SEATTLE – The Angels will have to wait at least one more day to try to get into first place.
The Angels lost, 5-0, to the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night, failing in a chance to move alone into first place for the first time since April.
Instead, the Angels remain a half-game behind the Houston Astros, whose loss earlier Saturday actually allowed the Angels to have a division lead by percentage points for a few hours between games.
