Final: Angels blow seven-run lead before C.J. Cron's second homer gives them 11-9 walk-off win against Tigers

ANAHEIM – Headed for one of their most impressive victories of the season, the Angels ended up instead with one of their most dramatic.

Wins are wins though.

After jumping to a seven-run lead and seemingly hitting on all cylinders, the Angels’ pitching melted down and they had to eke out an 11-9 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night.

C.J. Cron’s second homer of the game, a no-doubt two-run blast against Mark Lowe, ended the ultimate roller-coaster game.

The teams combined for nine homers, with the Tigers hitting five of them.
