KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time in what seemed like forever, the Angels had a game where they wanted it, with a lead handed to their closer.

But it still didn’t work.

Huston Street blew the save in the ninth inning and Trevor Gott gave up a run in the 10th in the Angels’ 4-3 loss to the Kansas City Royals.
