Dodgers, Angels tie in final exhibition game

LOS ANGELES -- There is no ramping up to baseball’s regular season. The final exhibition game does not count in the standings; the next one does.

A 4-4 tie between the Dodgers and Angels in the final Freeway Series game Saturday did not count, and Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy took full advantage.
