It seems like every article I’ve done recently about Dexter Fowler has gotten progressively worse.
Originally following Friday night’s game, manager Joe Maddon said that Fowler’s injury wasn’t as severe as it looked and there was a solid chance he’d avoid the Injured List. Then on Saturday, the club announced they were putting him on the IL with a left knee sprain. Today, we got the worst news possible, as the team announced he has a torn ACL and will miss 6-9 months, ending his season.
“For right now, you’ll see Jose Rojas and Juan Lagares,” Maddon said when asked about what the right field options are for the Angels.
