The Los Angeles Angels placed first baseman C.J. Cron on the 10-day disabled list after he fouled a ball of his left foot Friday against the Rangers.
Cron, who had to leave Friday's game, is hitting .233/.277/.267 with no home runs and three RBIs this season after hitting 16 homers in each of the past two seasons. He was wearing a boot on his foot and was using crutches to move around when speaking to reporters postgame.
It is speculated left-hander Tyler Skaggs, who also departed from Friday's game with a possible oblique injury, could be headed to the disabled list as well.
