Cron cracks HR, Chavez solid in outing

Seattle got a two-run homer from Tyler Smith in the top of the second inning, but otherwise was quiet at the plate. Mariners lefty Ariel Miranda, competing for a spot either in the rotation or long relief, gave up four runs on four hits with two walks in 1 2/3 innings in his first bad outing of the spring.
