ANAHEIM -- Zack Cozart brought an end to a battle of bullpens at Angel Stadium with a walk-off solo home run in the 13th inning, giving the Angels a 3-2 victory over the Indians. The blast was the first in walk-off fashion in Cozart's career.
"I'm exhausted," Cozart said. "Extra innings is tough. Our pitchers kept us in the game, and we kept battling at the plate. It was a great game."
After the Indians and Angels traded zeros for seven innings, Zach McAllister came out of Cleveland's bullpen, representing the 15th pitcher of the day for both clubs.
