Cody Allen lands on the IL with a back strain

Cody Allen is going on the IL with a back problem. Matt Ramsey has been optioned to make room for Tyler Skaggs. #Angels

Ch-ch-ch-changes... Luke Bard is back with the big league club, Tyler Skaggs has been reinstated and Matt Ramsey is back in Salt Lake.

Apparently, Allen’s injury is being defined as a “lumbar spine strain” - otherwise known as a low back strain. Unknown is whether or not his injury is “real” or a chance to right the ship a bit as he has struggled lately.
