SALT LAKE CITY – For C.J. Cron, watching the Angels flounder over the last month has been painful.
When he’s watched games, it’s been hard to shake the feeling that he should be in the middle of the lineup, contributing alongside his teammates. Instead, he spent most of July rehabbing from a broken left hand, unable until recently to participate in baseball activities.
“That’s the worst part about it, is not being able to be with the guys,” he said. “They’re your boys up there, and you want to be playing with them and trying to help them win ballgames.
