C.J. Cron hits key homer in Angels' much-needed 2-1 win over White Sox

ANAHEIM – Mike Scioscia said that C.J. Cron returned from Triple-A in late June “on a mission.”

On Monday night, he could certainly consider a part of that mission accomplished.

Cron’s tie-breaking homer in the seventh inning lifted the Angels to a much-needed 2-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
