This week the Angels play host to ESPN darlings and bandwagon favorites the Boston Red Sox. Whether it is the heart breaker of the 1986 ALCS, the obnoxious fans who invade the Big A, or the proliferation of the pink hat brigade, the Boston baseball team has long been loathed by Angels faithful along with many other fan bases around the country.
A look at both the past and present of the Red Sox franchise shows that they deserve to be the most reviled franchise in American sports, if not the entire sporting world.
