NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – The Angels are in the market for an outfielder, in addition to their more pressing need for a second baseman.
On the first day of baseball’s winter meetings on Monday, Billy Eppler said one of the items on his shopping list is a fourth outfielder, preferably one who can hit left-handed.
They aren’t looking for an everyday player because they are sticking to the plan of having Cameron Maybin start in left.
One of the most intriguing players who could be a fit for the Angels is Ben Revere, who last week was non-tendered by the Washington Nationals.
