After missing the first few games of the season with an oblique injury, there’s a solid chance that Anthony Rendon can return to the startling lineup as early as tomorrow, per Joe Maddon.
“It was talked about,” Maddon said when asked if Rendon potentially could have returned on Monday. “It seems the right thing to do is wait until tomorrow to make the decision. if everything goes right today, there’s a chance tomorrow. At the worst, the day after, without any kind of setbacks. It’s one of those things where you want to make sure you don’t rush it where you have a longer term situation.
