Angels turn to Cobb as they seek series win against Texas

After a clutch all-around ream performance last night in a 7-2 victory, the Angels will try to win a second game in a row this afternoon for the first time since Sept.16 when they take on the Texas Rangers in the rubber match of a 3-game series in Arlington, Texas.

The Halos have had a rough month of September, going 9-16 so far. While wins and losses are hardly meaningful at this point, the Angels have an opportunity to build some momentum and play spoiler headed into the upcoming Seattle series.

The Angels are 11-7 this season against Texas, the only AL West rival they have a winning record against.
