ANAHEIM -- The Angels on Monday traded outfielder Daniel Nava and cash considerations to the Royals for a player to be named, or cash considerations.
Nava was designated for assignment on July 30 and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake. He hit .365 with five homers and 31 RBIs in 22 games for the Bees, after batting .235 with nine RBIs in 45 games for the Angels.
