We are less than two weeks away from the Angels’ first Cactus League game, and now we know just how many fans will be in the stands. The club announced Monday that Tempe Diablo Stadium will operate at 25-percent capacity.
The stadium normally holds 9,600 fans when full, though in following local and state guidelines plus MLB health and safety protocols, the Angels will allow between 1,800 and 2,000 fans per game.
“Tickets will be available in pods of two, four or six. Seating will be socially distanced and clearly marked,” the team said in a statement.
