Angels GM Billy Eppler continues to add depth to the organization, this time in the form of a minor league deal for former SF Giant outfielder Jarrett Parker. For his career, the left handed hitter owns a .257-.355/.456 slash line through 382 plate appearances.
Parker did not play organized baseball in 2018 as he recovered from a shoulder injury suffered the previous year. If he’s back to health, he should provide the Angels with emergency depth in Salt Lake in the case of an injury to a corner outfielder.
Expect to see him getting playing time in big league camp in Tempe.
