The Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Zach Plesac have agreed to a one-year, $1 million deal, the team announced Saturday.
In a corresponding move, the Angels outrighted left-handed reliever Adam Kolarek to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Plesac, who turns 29 this month, was selected by Cleveland in the 12th round of the 2016 MLB draft out of Ball State and spent part of five seasons with the franchise.
He was 26-27 for the Guardians with a 4.20 ERA in 84 games (83 starts). He struck out 359 batters in 466u2154 innings.
