ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Third baseman Kyle Kubitza and left-hander David Huff have been designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Angels in the latest shake-up of their injury-plagued roster.
The Angels announced several moves Monday before facing Minnesota.
The club also selected right-handed relievers Al Alburquerque and A.J. Achter to the major league roster and placed reliever Cory Rasmus on the 15-day disabled list with a right groin strain.
Huff struggled in two fill-in starts for the Angels, who have several starting pitchers with significant injuries.
