The Angels made a roster move on Tuesday morning, as they selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Junior Guerra, adding him to the 40-man roster, which is now complete. In addition, the Angels also optioned outfielder Brandon Marsh, arguably the top prospect in the organization.
With the Angels adding Guerra, you’d have to assume this means he’ll crack the Opening Day roster out of the bullpen.
Over the last two seasons, Guerra has been one of the more under-appreciated relievers in all of baseball. Since 2019, he’s appeared in 97 games and has a very respectable ERA of 3.
