ANAHEIM -- As he feared when he got hurt Wednesday night, Angels closer Huston Street is officially on the disabled list.
The team made the move Thursday afternoon, just as the club was flying to Texas to open a series with the Rangers on Friday.
On Friday the Angels will announce a corresponding move, most likely calling up either Al Alburquerque or Cam Bedrosian.
Street, who felt discomfort in is oblique while warming up before Wednesday's game, said he had never had an oblique issue before, so he was unsure how much time he would miss.
