Angels offense goes quiet, lose to Mariners

Through the first three innings, everything was looking great for the Angels. They scored three runs on four hits and the offense was looking pretty good. From then on, the bats went absolutely ice cold. Over the final six innings, the Angels recorded only two hits and scored one run as they fell to the Mariners, 7-4.

The Angels scored two quick runs in the first inning. After two singles, Anthony Rendon doubled in a run to give them the lead. A sacrifice fly from Jared Walsh then gave LA their second run.

Shohei Ohtani hit a solo shot in the third inning, his eighth home run of the season.
