Angels offense goes quiet as winning streak ends

After the offense heated up over the last week, they went cold in Texas on Tuesday night as they fell to the Rangers, 7-1.

The lone run from the Halos came in the fifth inning on a solo home run from Jared Walsh. Aside from that, they couldn’t get anything going at the plate. They were 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and stranded eight runners on base. The Angels had multiple runners on base a few times throughout the night, but they just simply couldn’t capitalize when needed.

It was a rough outing for Andrew Heaney, who allowed five runs to score in his five innings of work.
