Angels offense goes quiet as they drop third in a row

The bullpen allowed four runs and the offense scored only two, as the Angels lost to the Athletics, 6-2. They have now lost 9 of their 12 games, as they continue to slide down the standings.

It wasn’t until the eighth inning in which the Angels got on the board. Trailing by six runs, they were able to add two to trim the deficit. Jose Iglesias grounded out to bring in a run, with Shohei Ohtani following him up with a triple to score a run. The only real bright spot on the night for the offense was Ohtani, as he had a double and a triple.
