After a forgetful showing from the Angels on Saturday night, the offense was alive and well on Monday as they scored 10 runs on 14 hits in their 10-3 victory over the Royals.
They got started early, as they tacked on two runs in the second. Jared Walsh and Justin Upton led the inning off with back-to-back singles. Jose Rojas flew out to bring in a run, but a throwing error led to a second run coming in as well.
The Angels tacked on a run in the third and another in the fifth, but it wasn’t until the seventh inning in which the bats really woke up.
