Angels Notes: Tyler Skaggs, C.J. Wilson slowly progressing

MESA, Ariz. – Tyler Skaggs and C.J. Wilson both took steps toward returning to action on Friday, but remain a couple weeks behind the rest of the starters in camp.

Skaggs threw his first bullpen session in a week, after taking a break to do some throwing on the side to refine his delivery.

Skaggs, who is rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, said he felt good. He’s scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Monday, followed by live batting practice on Wednesday. After that, the first time he could pitch in an exhibition game would be around Mar.
