The Angels’ game on Sunday against the Blue Jays got postponed due to weather. Both teams will make up the game on August 10 as part of a double-header. Following the decision to postpone the game, Angels manager Joe Maddon spoke with the media and provided a few updates.
The first update he provided was in regards to Shohei Ohtani and when we could see him potentially on the mound again. Maddon said Ohtani might throw a bullpen session on Monday, but he’s not positive. He said if he were to guess, he’ll throw without wearing a bandage.
