ANAHEIM – Angel Stadium staged one of those wonderful cross-sport promotions Tuesday.
This one came replete with a special Angels/Ducks hybrid logo embroidered onto the baseball players’ warm-up jerseys, hockey players taking batting practice and throwing first pitches, and the “Wild Wing” mascot roaming the stands like a duck out of water.
The occasion prompted a question about who on the Angels would have the best chance for success in hockey.
