Angels' Mike Trout: Being locked in as DH for 10 days was 'tough'

BALTIMORE -- Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout is back to being a two-way threat.

After being limited to designated hitter duty for the past 10 days because of a sprained right index finger, Trout is back in center field for Friday's game against the Orioles.

"It drove him crazy," manager Mike Scioscia, referring to Trout's DH stint, said before the Angels' series opener at Camden Yards. "It's much tougher than it sounds. He wished he could have played center all week. This is the earliest he could get back, and he's ready.
