Angels injury updates: Anthony Rendon, Shohei Ohtani and more

In what’s almost becoming a daily occurrence, here are the latest updates in regards to a few Angels injuries.

We’ll begin with Shohei Ohtani, who now hasn’t pitched in a game in a couple weeks due to a blister. He threw a 30-pitch bullpen session, the most he’s thrown since his last start. According to manager Joe Maddon, he looked great, and they’ll make a decision on him tomorrow.

Maddon wasn’t there to witness the bullpen session, but he said everything he heard was nothing but positive. If everything goes well tomorrow, we could see Ohtani back on the mound as early as Tuesday, which is definitely an encouraging sign.
