Well, that was fun! The Angels may have lost 11-10, but today is a day where mixing things up and looking at the positives in spite of a disappointing 9th inning just feels right.
The game started in the 7th inning stretch with a 10-2 score. I don’t know why that is. It’s some weird rule Manfred put into place; something about teams needing handicaps, which he referred to as “Angels starting pitchers,” against the boys in red. Much like several of his brainblasts, this rule seems like utter B.S. to me.
Regardless, the Angels took to their helms and clubs and proceeded to show us exactly why these other teams so desperately require a head start.
