CHICAGO – Baseball is a crazy, unpredictable game.
Except when it isn’t.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Angels’ mostly struggling lineup was faced with Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale, and they did exactly what you feared.
The Angels managed just two hits – both by Mike Trout -- in seven innings against Sale, losing 2-1 to the White Sox.
Thanks to Garrett Richards also pitching well – allowing two runs, one earned, in 6 1/3 innings – the Angels were close enough that they had a shot after Sale was out of the game.
