Triple-A: Salt Lake Bees
SP Tyler DeLoach, he of the infinitesimal ERA, was the hard-luck loser yesterday. He only gave up two earned runs, but he could have given up half a run and it still wouldn't have made a difference, as the Bees were completely stumped by Redbirds (STL) starter Tyler Lyons, who threw a CGSO (seven innings, but still very much complete). Maybe Weave could call DeLoach and advise him to get used to it. He might also want to tell him to lay off the BBs: Tyler doled out four free passes against only four strikeouts.
