ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Angels have exercised their contract option for 2016 on general manager Jerry Dipoto.
The Angels announced the move late in their victory over the Oakland Athletics on Friday night.
Dipoto took over the Angels in October 2011 and helped to build a roster that won the AL West last season with a major league-best 98 victories.
