The Angels dropped their fifth consecutive game on Saturday, but this one was definitely their worst of the skid. The Rays defeated the Halos, 13-3.
Ironically, the Angels were actually leading this game early on. After an RBI double from Shohei Ohtani in the third inning, LA led the game 3-2. From the fourth inning on, it was all Tampa Bay.
A four-run inning from the Rays is what began to put the game out of reach. With two on and two out, Alex Cobb was one out away from escaping the inning with the lead. Tampa Bay then strung together back-to-back hits to bring in three runs.
