Angels doing a solid for Chone Figgins.

The Angels have announced that they will sign veteran and former Halo, Chone Figgins to a one-day contract Monday so he can retire as an Angel. Figgins spent 8 seasons with the Angels starting in 2002. The 38 year-old also spent time playing for the Seattle Mariners and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Figgy is coming home, the announcement came today that Chone Figgins will indeed retire as an Angel, where he owns the stole bases record at 280. Figgins spent eight of his 12 MLB seasons with the Angels and helped them to a World Series win in 2002.
