Angels complete improbable comeback in New York

If you stopped watching the Angels game after the first inning, or simply because of how long the game took, I don’t blame you. The Yankees scored seven runs of Shohei Ohtani in the first and led 7-2 after one inning.

Then in the fifth inning there was a 90-minute rain delay. It was a tough one to get through. But if you stuck it out, it was well worth it. Trailing by four runs entering the ninth inning, the Angels scored seven runs to stun the Yankees and take home the 11-8 victory.

Taylor Ward, Max Stassi and Anthony Rendon all reached with a walk in the ninth inning.
