PEORIA, Ariz. – Carlos Perez is taking nothing for granted.
Although he finished last season as the Angels’ everyday catcher and seems primed to get the majority of the playing time behind the plate this year, he isn’t thinking that way.
“I have the same mindset as last year,” Perez said. “Just work hard and do things the right way. That’s all I’m thinking. I don’t think (about how much) I’m going to play.”
