Let me tell you the story about a 5 run lead...
Most teams, with a semblance of a pitching staff would be comfortable with a 6-1 lead going into the bottom of the 7th. But most teams are not the Angels.
Jose Suarez had his best “start” as an Angel, coming in for the 2nd inning and tossing 5.1 innings of 2 run ball. He even was nice enough to clear the bases (via Josh Phegley 2 run HR) in the 7th inning before making his exist. Those 2 runs were the only 2 he would surrender in this appearance and they were the beginning of the end for this game.
