The Angels agreed to terms on a $3.4 million salary for 2016 with Kole Cahoun, avoiding arbitration with their last remaining unsigned arbitration-eligible player.
Calhoun had requested $3.9 million and the Angels offered $2.35 million, so the settlement comes in above the midpoint between the two figures.
Calhoun became eligible for arbitration by the thinnest margin, making the threshold for "Super Two" status by one day. He will be arbitration eligible for three more seasons.
Calhoun, 28, hit .256 with 26 homers in 2015, and he won a Gold Glove award.
