ANAHEIM -- Jose Molina has rejoined the Angels as a catching coordinator, a position that will have the longtime catcher work with Minor Leaguers throughout their system, the team announced Friday.
Molina enjoyed a 15-year Major League career from 1999 to 2014 and spent the better part of seven seasons with the Angels. Now 40, Molina was with the Angels from 2001-07, spending the first five years as a backup to his brother, Bengie, and winning a World Series championship in 2002. His other brother, Yadier Molina, is the starting catcher for the Cardinals.
