Albert Pujols has had an amazing career and if he has not done enough already to get into the Hall of Fame, his next home run will do it.
Pujols is sitting on 599 home runs now after not hitting one in Wednesday’s game against the Braves. Home run #600 could come any day now and when Pujols goes deep he will be a lock to get into Cooperstown. Pujols will become the 9th player in MLB history to reach that milestone.
The Angels need Pujols to heat up now more than ever because of the absence of AL MVP Mike Trout who is out for at least six to eight weeks due to a torn UCL ligament in his thumb.
