ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Second baseman Johnny Giavotella is back in the Los Angeles Angels' lineup after missing five weeks with a nerve palsy that gave him double vision.

Giavotella batted ninth for the Angels on Friday night in the opener of their final homestand against Seattle.
