2020 Angels MLB draft tracker

Normally a draft tracker is more exhaustive, with 40 rounds worth of picks to chronicle, and monitor who signs and for what. But this year the draft is only five rounds, with MLB owners opting for cost-cutting measures by not only shortening the draft but deferring the bulk of bonus payments.

The Angels only had four picks in this five-round draft, losing their second-round pick for signing Anthony Rendon as a free agent in December.

In the first round the Angels have the 10th selection, the sixth time they’ve picked 10th overall (also in 1970, 1972, 1974, 2000, and 2017).
