Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard and Kenny Dalglish are amongst the Liverpool heroes who have praised Captain Tom Moore in a video message.
The 99-year-old former British Army Officer has raised an incredible £28million for the NHS after walking 100 laps of his garden ahead of his 100th birthday.
He also reached No 1 in the UK Singles Chart with a charity version of Liverpool's anthem You'll Never Walk Alone.
Moore served in India and the Burma campaign during World War Two.
A host of former Liverpool captains praised Moore, along with the current skipper Henderson.
