'You can't let people like that slip through the net:' Paul Ince SLAMS Manchester United for failing to sign Erling Haaland as he calls for players to leave the club this summer

Paul Ince believes Manchester United cannot afford to allow players like Erling Haaland to 'slip through the net' if they hope to one day replace Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

Ince, who represented both United and Liverpool in his playing days, has been impressed with Haaland from afar. The 19-year-old has scored 40 goals in 33 appearances this season, netting 28 in a Red Bull Salzburg shirt.

The Norwegian continued his rich vein of form upon moving to Borussia Dortmund, plundering 12 goals in 11 matches, and Ince says the United board will regret not paying £17million to sign the striker in January.
