Michael Beale's side were playing against Odense's first team who were previously unbeaten this season in the Danish Superliga.
Odense were physically a very strong side and the young Reds defended really well, while at the other end of the field Wilson, Brooks Lennon and Ben Woodburn were full of energy all evening and were the instigators of both goals and a number of good opportunities.
The opening goal came from the penalty spot. Woodburn set off on a fantastic run and when he was brought down, Wilson expertly converted from the spot.
The second goal was a brilliant team move.
