Liverpool took part in a behind closed doors friendly on Friday, with Jurgen Klopp coming up against former coach David Wagner at Melwood.
Wagner, in charge of high flying Championship side Huddersfield, named a strong starting line-up against a Reds XI which included the likes of James Milner, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino.
And it was the visitors who came away with the victory - Jack Payne and Kasey Palmer scoring to continue the Terriers' fine run of form.
However, Liverpool keeper Alex Manninger - who was signed in the summer as third choice stopper - helped Huddersfield on the way to victory.
