Wales manager Chris Coleman reveals he rejected advice from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp not to use teen sensation Ben Woodburn in World Cup qualifying

Wales boss Chris Coleman has revealed he went against the advice of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp when throwing Ben Woodburn into the action during World Cup qualifying.

The 17-year-old forward was the catalyst for victory against Austria when he scored off the bench, before turning the clash with Moldova in Wales' favour three days later by setting up Hal Robson-Kanu for the opener.

Woodburn has yet to appear for the first team at Anfield this season, and Coleman revealed his club boss Klopp had suggested to him the teenager was not ready.
